The story of Your Baby’s Needs (YBN) is built from the ground up as most small business stories are. It is one of struggles and successes of a woman-owned, minority-owned business who fought to build the online boutique you see today. Our foundation is grounded in both heart and history.
Compelled by the needs of those in domestic abuse situations and drawn to supporting women who were lacking access to baby clothing and supplies, YBN’s founder determined action was needed. In 2012, driven by her personal domestic abuse experiences with a baby on the way, Your Baby’s Needs took shape. Its original form was that of an exchange forum for baby clothing, accessories, and maternity planning. Thanks to the creation of the exchange platform, our YBN founder facilitated the exchange and donation of supplies that moms and moms-to-be needed to care for themselves and their baby amid domestic crisis.
Although Your Baby’s Needs has since evolved into a thriving online boutique, our commitment to quality-made, price-friendly products continues as a way of providing accessibility for new mothers and families. Our passion for working with domestic abuse organizations is ongoing, and Your Baby’s Needs invites organizations, as well as hospital maternity wards, to reach out for collaboration and support.
